Let Me Introduce Myself
The attorney you choose to represent you does make a difference. Let me tell you a little about myself and why I will do a good job for you.
I have been practicing law since 1984. I have handled everything from the simplest of cases involving the denial of a single medical bill, to precedent setting cases before the Minnesota Supreme Court.
I am frequently asked to teach both attorneys and doctors about no-fault law and workers’ compensation law. I have written two books on these areas. I am the author of one of the chapters in the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Deskbook, considered here in Minnesota to be the most authoritative reference on workers’ compensation law. When other attorneys have questions about workers’ compensation or no-fault law, I am one of the attorneys they call for help.
I am the attorney you want handling your case.
How Much Do I Charge?
I charge no fee unless and until I successfully recover benefits for you.
You pay nothing up front.
You pay nothing as your case proceeds.
You pay no fee if I cannot recover benefits for you.
If you want to support the lawyers who advertise on television, solicit business by sending marketing brochures to people within days of their accidents or investigators to accident sites or hospital beds, and practice high volume assembly-line law, then don’t hire me.
However, if you want one-on-one personalized service from start to finish; knowing that when you call, you will talk to me; knowing that when it comes time to handle your deposition, discuss settlement or take your case to trial, I will be there for you; knowing that you are being represented by an attorney with my level of experience, knowledge and dependability; then I’m the attorney you want.
On the personal side, I have been married to my beautiful wife and best friend, Laurie, since 1987. We have three wonderful children. One of the great joys in my life has been coaching my children in baseball, basketball and fast pitch softball. I also enjoy camping, hunting, fishing and traveling the country. Laurie and I have taken our children to every state except Alaska (which we hope to get to one day).
My wife and I are active members of our church. While I do not believe in forcing my faith upon others, or using it to market my services as an attorney, my faith guides me in my work. I represent my clients the way I would want to be represented: with honesty, diligence and integrity.

“When I got hurt at work I was scared my employer would fire me or make my life miserable. So I didn’t report my injury right away hoping it would just go away. It didn’t and got even worse. When I reported my injury, my employer said I couldn’t claim benefits because I failed to report my injury in time. The insurance company denied my claim too. I hired David Wulff and he explained to me that my employer could not legally fire me or do anything bad to me for making a claim. I had to take my case all the way to trial, but Dave did a great job and I was awarded everything. I know now that if I have another injury at work, I will report it right away; and if my claim is denied, I will definitely hire Dave to handle my case.”

“The insurer in my case told me I couldn’t treat with my chiropractor for more than 12 weeks. The bill was less than $2,000 and other attorneys I called wouldn’t touch my case. Mr. Wulff took me on as a client and the way he treated me you would have thought mine was the largest case he had. He got my bill paid in full, plus my mileage and even recovered a ‘subdivision 7 fee’ which he said was to compensate me for having to hire an attorney. I actually made money on top of getting my bills paid. Mr. Wulff is the best!”

“After my first accident I called one of the law firms that advertises on TV. I was not happy with them. After my second accident, I called David Wulff. The difference was like night and day. I got much better service and a much better result with Dave. Do yourself a favor, don’t call the law firms that advertise on TV. Hire Dave. You won’t regret it.”

“I was sent to an IME. What a joke. The insurance company’s doctor said I wasn’t hurt and the insurer stopped paying my medical bills and my wage loss. David Wulff called my doctor and told him he would fight for my rights. My doctor agreed to keep treating me. Dave got all of my medical bills and wage loss paid. He even referred me to a QRC who helped me find a new job. I don’t know what I would have done without Dave.”

“My employer denied that I was injured at work and refused to pay any of my benefits. I hired David Wulff to help me out. Mr. Wulff took my case to trial and got my wage loss and medical bills paid. He took care of everything. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a workers’ compensation claim.”
Karin E.
“I was involved in a serious work-related car accident. I had no idea what to do. David Wulff handled both my claim for workers’ compensation benefits and my claim for damages in the car accident. He did an excellent job. He kept me up-to-date on what was going on. He was always available when I called and answered all of my questions. He was always very calm and explained things so that I could understand exactly what was happening. I would not hesitate to hire Mr. Wulff again.”
Shaun B.
“My case involved a very complex legal issue concerning sovereign immunity because I worked for a native American employer. Mr. Wulff took my case all the way to the Supreme Court and won. He never gave up on me. He did an excellent job and my case established a new precedent. If you have a tough case, hire Mr. Wulff. You won’t regret it.”
Rodney S.
“I have suffered five separate work-related injuries and car accidents over the past 15 years. Dave has represented me on all of them. He has helped me put my life back together, literally. He knows more than any other attorney I know. He is always on top of everything. He explains things really well. He is always very calm and gives advice that takes into consideration what is really going on in my life. I owe him a lot. His staff is also excellent (especially Brenda). I would wholeheartedly recommend David Wulff to anyone who needs a good attorney.”

“I live in a small town in northern Minnesota. I was concerned that the lawyers around here didn’t really know all the ins and outs about workers’ compensation law. My doctor told me to call David Wulff, that he was a good attorney. At first I was concerned about hiring an attorney from the cities, because of the distance you know. Dave did a really good job for me. The distance was no problem at all. Dave was always there when I called to ask him questions. He really helped me get through a tough time.”

“After my car accident I received 15 letters from attorneys and law firms trying to convince me to hire them. It was disgusting. Who would hire an ambulance chaser like that? I asked my doctor if she knew a good attorney. She said to call David Wulff. It was funny because I also asked a friend of mine who is an attorney but doesn’t handle car accidents, and he suggested David Wulff too. I was very happy with the service I received. I was also glad that Dave is not the type of attorney who chases ambulances. He just does a good job.”
